Domestic air travellers in China post 74.6% year-on-year growth in July

Mainland China airlines flew 59.1 million passengers on domestic flights in July, up 74.6% from 33.9 million passengers in the same month in 2022. Read More » The domestic passenger load factor was 81.2%, an improvement of 10.9 percentage points from 70.3% a year earlier, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) monthly passenger report said. When compared with pre-COVID-19 levels of activity, the July figure represented 112.1% of the 52.7 million passengers the Mainland carriers transported around the country in the same month in 2019.
