Air France-KLM and Airbus said they are in negotiations to establish a 50-50 joint-venture offering A350 component maintenance services, such as supply chain management, repairs and a worldwide pool of aircraft components that is set to be operational in the first half of 2024.

Aviation finance company, Avolon, said it had converted 50 A320neo aircraft on order with Airbus to the larger A321neo, as well as signed a binding agreement for 20 A330-900s, firming up a Memorandum of Understanding for the widebodies signed at the Paris Airshow.

Saab has agreed a contract extension with Boeing to manufacture large cargo doors, bulk cargo doors and access doors for the airframer's 787 Dreamliner program. The company said it had delivered more than 1,100 shipsets for the 787 since the first contract was signed in 2004.
