Boeing updates 2023 737 delivery guidance

Boeing chief financial officer, Brian West, has told an industry conference the company expects its 737 deliveries in calendar 2023 to be at the low end of its previous guidance of 400 to 450 deliveries due to supply chain issues. Read More » “In terms of the full year, we have a range of 400 to 450 for 737 deliveries,” West said. “We are not changing that forecast, but I expect it to be at the low end of that range.” In August, it was announced production of the 737 had been impacted by a manufacturing issue with some aft pressure bulkheads supplied by Spirit Aerosystems. “We know how to fix it. But it is early in the rework process,” West said. A separate 737 manufacturing issue was identified by Spirit Aerosystems last April. In terms of market conditions, West said demand continued to be “quite strong”.
