Air New Zealand has thanked its 4,000 suppliers at its recent annual Supplier Awards celebrations. Christchurch International Airport took out the top award for its work with the airline on the recently launched hydrogen consortium and the 400-hectare renewable energy precinct the airport has sited beside its runways.

BOC Aviation has signed leases with JetBlue Airways for five A321neo and five A220-300s. The transaction - JetBlue will transfer the aircraft to BOC Aviation which will then lease the 10 airliners back to JetBlue – is expected to close this year.

Philippines Transportation Secretary, Jaime Bautista, a former Philippine Airlines president and chief operating officer, said the government has received three bids for the multi-billion peso tender to upgrade Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport. They are India's GMR Group, Philippines conglomerate, San Miguel Corporation and a third Manila-based consortium.
