The Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to cooperate on aircraft parts disassembly and recycling. “This MoU allows us to share our knowledge and experience with the CAAC and comply with the legal and regulatory frameworks. It also creates opportunities for AFRA BMP accredited companies to access the Chinese market and provide the commercial aviation industry in China with expanded access to Used Serviceable Material while ensuring safety and traceability,” AFRA said in a social media post.

Capital A’s 100%-owned subsidiary, Asia Digital Engineering (ADE), and Sivilai Asia Co. Ltd will establish a joint venture MRO shop in Cambodia. ADE will have equity of 60% in ADE (Cambodia) Co. Ltd.

Perth Airport’s construction partners, West Coast Civil and Perkins Builders, have broken ground on three projects: expansion of the apron at Terminal 2, construction of a maintenance hangar for Virgin Australia Regional Airlines and the development of an aviation support precinct.

Philippine Airlines and Salesforce are implementing the Salesforce Customer 360 platform, powered by AI, across the airline’s contact centre and customer feedback handling unit, with an initial focus on customer experience, marketing and sales.
