Vistara boosts Frankfurt service

India-headquartered Vistara said it was launching a new nonstop service between Mumbai and Frankfurt from November 15 2023. Read More » The Tata Group-Singapore Airlines Group joint-venture has scheduled six flights a week on the Mumbai-Frankfurt route with three-class 787-9 aircraft. Vistara has served the Germany financial hub from Delhi since February 2021 and currently had six flights a week on the route. "Our long-haul routes, connecting Delhi with London Heathrow, Paris and Frankfurt have been very popular amongst our customers which gave us the confidence to offer similar connections from Mumbai as well," Vistara CEO, Vinod Kannan, said. “Over the past couple of years, we have launched several new international routes from Mumbai, especially to the Middle East. This aligns perfectly with our strategy to position Mumbai as a vital hub for international travel."
