Bankgok Suvarnabhumi to open Midfield Satellite Building this week

Bankgok Suvarnabhumi Airport has scheduled a soft launch opening of its new Midfield Satellite Building (SAT-1) tomorrow (September 28). Read More » Three airlines will be part of the soft launch - Emirates, Thai AirAsia X (TAAX) and Thai VietJet. The first flight was the arrival of TAAX flight XJ761 from Shanghai Pudong. Passengers can reach the SAT-1 building, which has 28 contact gates, via a three-minute journey on an automated people mover from the main terminal. "The SAT-1 terminal has successfully undergone the full-scale trial operations in collaboration with the airlines, ground service providers, and related agencies," Suvarnabhumi Airport general manager, Kittipong Kittikachorn, said.
