Fokker Services Group says its Singapore-based Fokker Services Asia subsidiary has received Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Part 145 Maintenance Organization Approval to provide maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) services on the Embraer E190 aircraft type at its Seletar Airport workshop.
GKN Aerospace says its engine repair workshop in Malaysia's Johor has received certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), and the Civil Aviation Authority in the UK (CAA)for the repair of the CFM56 engine parts, as well as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) qualification for the PWAEI V2500, CFM56-5B and CFM56-7 fan blades.
Pratt & Whitney (P&W) says its Eagle Services Asia joint-venture with SIA Engineering Company will expand its Singapore facility to about 4,460 square meters, with the expansion to result in a two-thirds increase of the engine maintenance, repair and overhaul provider's current facility capacity.
