Jetstar Asia extends China services to Wuxi

Singapore-based Jetstar Asia has announced a new nonstop twice a week Changi-Wuxi rotation that will be flown by A320s from December 28. Read More » Frequency to the Jiangsu province city, 150 kms west of Shanghai, will increase to four a week from January 15, the Qantas Group carrier said. Wuxi is the second Mainland city after Haikou to join Jetstar Asia's network. “We are seeing strong interest for services to key Chinese ports as well as increasing demand for services from China to Singapore,” Jetstar Asia CEO, Barathan Pasupathi, said. “China is an important market. Following the successful launch of our service to Haikou earlier this year, we are excited about introducing another Chinese city to our list of destinations. We believe Wuxi has the dynamics to be a successful route.”
