EVA Airways flew 970,733 passengers for the month, airline update reports

In September, Taiwan’s EVA Airways (EVA) carried more than four times the 232,341 customers it flew in the same month in 2022. Read More » Despite the year-on-year growth, the September figure was 7.6% lower than the 1.1 million passengers EVA transported in August. Passenger revenue for the 30 days was NT$11.1 billion (US$343 million), up 232.83% from NT$3.3 billion recorded in September last year. Compared with pre-COVID-19, passengers were 95.1% of the 1 million customers the airline flew in September 2019. Passenger revenue was 145.1% of the NT$7.6 billion the Star Alliance member earned in the same month four years ago. Capacity was 102.4% of pre-pandemic operations for the month.
