China Southern Airlines more than doubles domestic passengers, latest update reports

China Southern Airlines (CSA) transported 10.9 million domestic passengers in September compared with 5.3 million air travellers flown in the same month last year. Read More » Guangzhou-headquartered CSA said domestic passenger load factor for the 30 days was 78%, a 9.5 percentage point improvement from 68.5% in September 2022. Compared with pre-COVID-19 data, CSA's September domestic passenger traffic was 101% of the 10.8 million domestic air travellers the airline carried in the same month in 2019. Domestic capacity was 113% of CSA's pre-pandemic operations.
