Read More » At a ceremony at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, the airline showcased a 737 MAX, registration VT-BXA, featuring an orange fuselage, a stylised AIX in white on an orange background on its engines and traditional artwork on the tail of silver, teal and orange. “We are thrilled to unveil the X factor in Indian aviation, the new livery of Air India Express,” the LCC said in a social media post. Tata’s is consolidating its two LCCs – Air India Express and AirAsia India - into one brand. Air India Express managing director, Aloke Singh, said the carrier is scheduled to accept 50 aircraft in the next 15 months and will increase its fleet to 170 by 2028.
