AerCap has signed an agreement with Turkish Airlines to lease three 787-9s and 25 737 MAX family aircraft to the flag carrier with deliveries from 2024 to 2026. The lessor also secured lease extensions with the Star Alliance member for six A330-200s.
Air New Zealand and the country’s Department of Conservation (DoC) have extended their partnership for another five years. The airline also has doubled its investment in the DoC’s biodiversity programs to support conservation and biodiversity.
Air cargo services provider, Challenge Group, has inducted a 767 freighter into its fleet that will increase its Liege-Hong Kong service to daily.
GE’s GE Aerospace posted double digit growth in orders, revenue and operating profit in the quarter to September 30 as a result of “commercial momentum and strength in services”. GE Aerospace reported orders rose 34%, to US$9.8 billion, revenue was higher by 25% (US$8.4 billion) and operating profit increased by 33% to US$1.7 billion. ‘At GE Aerospace, we continue to experience rapid growth driven by robust demand and solid execution, largely in Commercial Engines and Services,” GE and GE Aerospace CEO, Lawrence Culp Jr, said.
