AirAsia Indonesia cuts losses to US$55 million from robust passenger demand

Operating expenses increased 45.5% to 5.5 trillion rupiah, the LCC added. “Strong pent-up demand is evident where travel restrictions have been lifted and more routes have re-opened. This supports the industry’s recovery in domestic and international markets,” the company’s financial accounts said. “However, there is still substantial medical and economic uncertainty about the COVID-19 pandemic.”
