IndiGo delivers fourth consecutive quarterly profit

Interglobe Aviation, the parent company of India’s LCC IndiGo, has reported a net profit of 1.9 billion rupee (US$22.7 million) for the three months to September 30 compared with a net loss of 15.8 billion rupee in the same period in 2022. Read More » Revenue increased 20.6%, to 155 billion rupee, Interglobe said in a regulatory filing. “I am pleased to report another profitable quarter despite seasonal fluctuations and external headwinds coming into play,” IndiGo CEO, Pieter Elbers, said. “With our clear strategy and focus on execution, we have completed a full cycle and remained profitable for the last four quarters. We continued to augment our network domestically and internationally with the addition of 10 destinations in the last few months, increasing the routes we fly to 115 as of today.”
