Malaysia Airlines adds another A350-900 to fleet

Malaysia Airlines has added an A350-900 to its fleet after completing the acquisition of the Airbus wide-body, formerly operated by SAS, local media reports, citing flight tracking data and online booking schedules. Read More » The aircraft, registration 9M-MAH, was ferried from Victorville in the U.S. to Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia last weekend. The oneworld alliance member has six A350-900s in its fleet, configured with four business suites, 35 business and 257 economy class seats. The former SAS A350-900 arrived in the fleet with 300 seats configured with 40 business, 32 premium economy and 228 economy seats. The latest addition to the fleet is expected operate one of the flag carrier’s daily Kuala Lumpur-Melbourne services.
