Malaysia Airlines restores full cabin catering across network

Malaysia Airlines has commenced serving a full food and drinks menu on all flights after more than two months of limited on board catering. Read More » Since the airline’s contract ended with Brahim Food Services on September 1, the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) carrier, has received 24 hi-lift vehicles and established a temporary distribution centre – MAG Catering Operations (MCAT) – to handle around 18,000 meals a day alongside suppliers and partners. “We underwent this much needed transition in our on board catering to improve our offerings and service delivery and grow our capabilities, with customers remaining our centre of gravity,” MAG CEO, Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, said. “We will continue to strengthen our core proposition as a premium airline, with a commitment to elevate the on board dining experience with more options, curated offerings and variety.”
