Air India previews first A350-900 with new livery on social media

Air India has announced its first A350-900 is a step closer to arriving in its fleet after completing a ferry flight from Singapore to Toulouse late last week. Read More » The aircraft, which features the airline's new livery and French registration F-WHUG, rather than the expected Indian registration VT-JRA, will be delivered to the flag carrier next month. “Another step closer to the arrival of India’s most awaited aircraft,” Air India said in a social media post. “Our A350-900 takes off on its first ferry flight from Singapore to Toulouse in the new Air India colours.” The aircraft is Air India's first wide-body painted with its new livery and one of six A350-900s scheduled to join the airline by March 2024. The Star Alliance member has 34 A350-1000s on order.
