Sydney Airport doubles year-on-year passenger numbers

Read More » The outlook for the busy end-of-year travel period also is promising, Culbert said, given extra capacity has been scheduled to and from China, Indonesia, South Korea and Vietnam. “In the 12 months to October, almost 14 million passengers have travelled out of Australia from our international terminal, more than double the numbers of 12 months ago,” Culbert said. “We continue to see markets roaring back to life.” South Korean visitors to Sydney had been “consistently higher that pre-pandemic levels” since April, an airport statement said.
