Air India headed to Phuket

Air India is boosting its presence in the India-Thailand market with a new nonstop route linking Delhi and Phuket. Read More » The new service is scheduled to commence on December 15 with four flights a week, increasing to daily from January 8 2024. The route will be served with A320neo aircraft featuring 12 business and 162 economy seats. Phuket will be the Star Alliance member' second destination in Thailand alongside its current offering to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi from Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Air India will join two Indian carriers with nonstop flights to Phuket – Indigo flies to the popular tourist destination from Delhi and Mumbai, while Spicejet offers charters from Surat. No Thailand-based airlines fly to India from Phuket. The Tata Group carrier's Thailand services are supported by an interline agreement with Bangkok Airways.
