AirAsia Indonesia to shift terminal at Jakarta for domestic flights

AirAsia Indonesia (AAI) is moving all its domestic flights at Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta Airport to Terminal 2 from December 6 2023. Read More » Currently, AAI's domestic flights operate out of Terminal 1A at the airport. The location of the LCC's international flights was unchanged at Terminal 2F. AAI CEO, Veranita Yosephine, said the terminal change provided a better passenger experience and offered more efficient connections for those transferring from a domestic to international flight and vice versa. "We are confident that the transition period for this relocation will proceed seamlessly, ensuring that all Indonesia AirAsia customers experience a hassle-free journey," Veranita said. "Our commitment to deliver an outstanding travel experience remains unwavering, and this terminal relocation is a pivotal step in achieving that goal." The airline said extra staff have been assigned to provide assistance and direction for passengers, along with a shuttle service to take passengers between terminals.
