Japan Airlines sets date for start of freighter network

Read More » The initial schedule will service Nagoya Chubu, Seoul Incheon, Shanghai Pudong, Taipei Taoyuan and Tokyo Narita. “The operation of the freighters will enhance stable and flexible air transportation capabilities, ensuring a steady supply,” JAL said. In May, the oneworld alliance member announced it would establish dedicated freighter services. At the time, it predicted a potential change in the Japan logistics market in 2024 due to an expected shortage of truck drivers after labour regulations were revised. It will be 13 years since JAL operated its own freighter aircraft.
