Airports Council International has launched a Level 5 tier for its Airport Carbon Accreditation program. An airport is awarded Level 5 certification if it is maintaining a net zero carbon balance for emissions under their control (Scope 1 and 2), and is extending mapping, influencing and reporting requirements for all other emissions (Scope 3). Of the 10 airports with Level 5 status, Christchurch Airport in New Zealand is the only airport in the Asia-Pacific to be ranked at Level 5.
Asia Digital Engineering (ADE), the MRO subsidiary of Capital A, has completed its 100th C-check. ADE opened its doors for business in September 2020.
Safran and the government of Morocco have signed a framework agreement to jointly develop the country's aerospace sector, with particular focuses on establishing a high quality local supply chain, growing high value added activities and boosting talent and skills in the sector.
