Philippine Airlines and American Airlines launch codeshare

Philippine Airlines (PAL) and American Airlines (AA) have commenced code-sharing between the Philippines and the U.S. American has placed its AA airline code on PAL flights from Tokyo to Manila and Cebu and is selling itineraries to the Philippines capital on routes to Guam and Honolulu. Read More » PAL has placed its PR airline code on AA services from Los Angeles to Atlanta, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando and Washington, D.C. to connect with its Manila-Los Angeles rotation. “This partnership with American Airlines unlocks more options for customers traveling between Asia and the U.S.,” PAL chief commercial officer, Eric David Anderson, said. “We are delighted to deliver on our long-term strategy of continuing to build our global reach.” AA vice president global alliances and partnerships, Anmol Bhargava, said: “The Philippines is one of the fastest growing economies in Asia.
