Malaysia-headquartered AirAsia X (AAX) is resuming nonstop three times a week Kuala Lumpur-Xi’An from March 4. Read More » The Xi'An route will operate alongside the LCC’s existing services from the Malaysian city to Beijing Daxing, Chengdu Tianfu, Hangzhou and Shanghai Pudong. “We are proud to be the only airline connecting Kuala Lumpur directly with Xi’An with this resumption,” AAX Malaysia CEO, Benyamin Ismail, said. “Restoring this route, part of our ever-growing network, proves our steadfast commitment to our growth strategies in Greater China, especially in this significant year that marks the 50th anniversary of Malaysia-China diplomatic relations.” After the recent relaxation of visa rules for travel between the two countries, Malaysian citizens can visit China visa-free for stays of up to 15 days.
