Emirates Airline achieves record load factor for premium economy seats into Australia

Emirates Airline’s premium economy cabin on its flights from Dubai to Melbourne and Sydney are averaging a load factor of 80%, with more than 90,000 passengers flying in the cabin class category, the carrier’s most recent statistics reveal. Read More » The Gulf carrier began offering premium economy on Dubai-Sydney in 2022 and introduced aircraft fitted with the cabin on Dubai-Melbourne in 2023. The Qantas Group alliance partner offers the premium economy option on two flights a day Dubai-Sydney and one daily Dubai-Melbourne service. A second Dubai-Melbourne rotation configured with cabin class will begin on February 1, Emirates said. “With the extraordinary success so far of the premium economy cabin in Australia, the additional premium economy service to Melbourne will give more customers the opportunity to experience our unique premium products,” Emirates divisional vice president Australasia, Barry Brown, said.
