Thai AirAsia booked 26% increase in passengers in final quarter of 2023

Thai AirAsia (TAA) carried 5.1 million passengers on its domestic and international flights in the final quarter of 2023 compared with the 4.1 million customers it flew in the same months in 2022. Read More » Capacity, or available seat kilometres (ASK), was higher by 46% and operating aircraft increased by 10 to 52, TAA parent, Asia Aviation Public Company Limited (AAPC), said. “In the final quarter of last year, Thailand recorded a high season surge in tourism,” AAPC said. “Against the same quarter in 2019, TAA's domestic capacity almost fully recovered, reaching 94% [of pre-COVID] levels. International capacity was 84% of the last three months of 2019,” it added.
