AirAsia X Group said 2023 set the company on the path to growth

Capacity, or Available Seat Kilometers grew by 2.8 times over 2022, to 4,770 million, and Revenue Passenger Kilometres multiplied by three times, at 3,839 million, for the 12 months.
In the reported year, AirAsia X Malaysia carried above 2.8 million passengers, 6.8 times more than in 2022. Capacity was 6.6 times higher than the previous year and load factor reached 80%, up by two percentage points against full-year 2022.
AirAsia X Thailand carried 387,217 passengers in the three months to last December 31, 1.7 times better than in the fourth quarter of 2022. Capacity increased 1.8 times, to 450,979 seats, in the quarter and passenger load factor was 86%. In 2023, AirAsia X Thailand’s passenger load factor averaged 83%, with more than 1.3 million passengers carried, up by about 4.5 times compared with 2022.
AirAsia X's fleet was 18 A330s at December 31, with 16 aircraft activated and operational. AirAsia X Thailand's fleet stood at eight A330s on the same date with seven aircraft activated and operational.
