All Nippon Airways subsidiary, AirJapan, receives launch aircraft

Read More » The aircraft was ferried to Tokyo Narita airport from Xiamen where it had received its new livery and been fitted with a 324 seat, all-economy layout. Starting on February 9 AirJapan will operate Tokyo Narita-Bangkok Suvarnabhumi six times a week. It will up gauge the route to daily on April 30 when a second 787-8 is scheduled to join the new carrier. By fiscal year-end 2024-2025, AirJapan intends to be operating five retrofitted aircraft from ANA’s fleet. “With the addition of AirJapan, we can leverage three brands and offer customers different options to meet their travel needs. This ambitious network expansion reflects investments to meet demand while adhering to our sustainable growth mission,” ANA HOLDINGS INC. chief executive and president, Koji Shibata, said.
