AirAsia Group airlines report passenger numbers at 77% of pre-COVID 2019

Capacity, or Available Seat Kilometres, was 74% of pre-pandemic times with the four airlines recording average passenger load factors in the high 80%. “This achievement signifies the return of strong travel demand aligned with the group’s relentless efforts to return capacity to the market and reinstate the route network,” Capital A said. “As more capacity is made available, operations will continue to stabilise and customer experience will improve.”
