Hawaiian Airlines relinquishes several Tokyo Haneda slots
January 29th 2024

Read More » The night time slots are four flights a week from Honolulu and three a week from Kona. “Hawaiian did not take this decision lightly,” the airline said in its notice to the DoT, and added it had invested “significant time and resources” building its Haneda operations, particularly in this northern hemisphere winter scheduling season. “However, market conditions make continued operation of the flights economically unviable. In other Haneda news, American Airlines (AA) has welcomed the U.S. DoT's decision to tentatively approve its application for nonstop New York JFK to the close-in Tokyo airport.
