Lessor Avolon’s latest research forecasts large commercial aircraft deliveries will increase to 1,450 in 2024 from about 1,200 aircraft in 2023. “Airlines’ growth this year will be supported by around US$100 billion in new aircraft deliveries with lessor order books and capital supporting fleet expansion plans,” Avolon CEO, Andy Cronin, said.
