Vietjet will be back in China next month when it will resume daily Ho Chi Minh City-Chengdu. Read More » The LCC will be the only airline operating nonstop between the two cities after the route is launched on February 10, the first day of the Year of the Dragon. The service will be an evening departure from southern Vietnam’s commercial hub, arriving in Chengdu just after midnight and returning to Ho Chi Minh City around 0400 local time. Pre-pandemic, Vietjet flew to seven Mainland destinations. At present, the LCC operates to Hong Kong from Da Nang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc.
