China Eastern Airlines operating codeshare with Virgin Atlantic

China Eastern Airlines (CEA) and Virgin Atlantic have agreed a codeshare that allows Virgin Atlantic passengers flying London Heathrow-Shanghai Pudong to travel to the Mainland destinations of Chengdu, Changsha, Qingdao, Shenzhen and Xi’an on a single ticket. Read More » CEA passengers traveling from Shanghai to London can now connect via Heathrow to Jamaica, Nassau, Lagos, Cape Town and Johannesburg, the carriers have announced. The SkyTeam alliance members share Terminal 1 in Shanghai, offering Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold and Silver members and China Eastern Miles members the SkyPriority services of priority check-in, boarding and extra baggage. “Our new codeshare with China Eastern will serve continued demand for travel to the region and strengthen our commitment to China and East Asia,” Virgin Atlantic said.
