Cathay Pacific’s aviation exploration open day, held over the weekend in partnership with Hong Kong's Strive and Rise program, attracted more than 600 students. “We are delighted to be supporting this worthwhile initiative for the second consecutive year, reaffirming our commitment to nurturing local talent and supporting young people in pursuing their goals,” Cathay Group CEO, Ronald Lam, said.
Southwest Airlines has selected Recaro Aircraft Seating’s BL3710 seat for new deliveries of 737 MAX 8s.
GE and GE Aerospace CEO, Lawrence Culp Jr, said in a letter to shareholders in the company's annual report that the post-pandemic commercial aerospace recovery remained robust, with demand for new builds and aftermarket services soaring. “Global airline CEOs tell me they are largely bullish about 2024. They want more engines and more airplanes from our air framer customers, and they need more of our support in the field to keep their fleets flying,” he wrote.
