Qantas Group has named John Mullen as its new chair and announced Dr Nora Scheinkestel will join its board. Read More » Mullen will be a non-executive director and chair-elect from July 1 and then take up his role as chair ahead of the group’s Annual General Meeting in October. Dr Scheinkestel will take her seat as a non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee on March 1. The appointments follow the resignations of directors, Maxine Brenner and Jacqueline Hey, effective from today, and the retirement of chair, Richard Goyder, before group’s AGM.
