Read More » The agreement was signed by STARLUX Airlines founder and chairman, Chang Kuo-wei, and Airbus Commercial Aircraft business CEO, Christian Scherer. The A330s will arrive at the full-service carrier from 2025 to 2026 with the A350 freighters to be delivered “a little later”, Airbus EVP Sales Commercial Aircraft, Benoit de Saint-Exupery said. Airbus invited STARLUX to exhibit its A330neo, B-58303, at this week’s Singapore Airshow.
Maldivian has confirmed an order for two ATR42-600s, increasing its fleet of the type to seven. Separately, India’s FLY91 has acquired two ATR72-600s. They will operate to new domestic destinations and underserved routes across India.
Vietjet has exercised an option with RTX for an additional 19 GTF-powered A320neo and signed a contract with the company’s EngineWise services for MRO on the engines.
