Air India Group has signed a 12-year inventory technical management agreement with SIA Engineering Company for spare parts and MRO of airframe and on-wing engine components for the company's A320 family aircraft fleet.

Cathay Cargo has opened an application programming interface (API) with DB Schenker, giving the freight forwarding company access to the airline’s Click & Ship booking platform. DHL Global Forwarding, DSV and Kuehne+Nagel have access to the platform to check space, make bookings and secure instant confirmation on Cathay Cargo's inventory.

Cebu Pacific Air has signed a multi-year service agreement with Safran for maintenance, repair and overhaul services if its A330neo nacelles and access to a nacelles end-items spare parts pool.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and the Civil Aviation Authority of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK CAA) have signed a technical arrangement for airworthiness certification to share work practices and safety oversight information.

Korean Air and Vienna International Airport are working together to “capture growing air cargo demand” between South Korea and Austria with joint marketing initiatives targeted at forwarders and customers.

Macquarie AirFinance has announced it will purchase 23 more aircraft. The leasing company said the airplanes will be “predominantly new technology commercial passenger aircraft” with an average age of about five years. They are leased to 10 airlines in nine countries by Saudi Arabia-headquartered ALAFCO Aviation Lease and Finance Company for US$1.1 billion. The commitment is separate from Macquarie AirFinance’s acquisition of 53 aircraft and an order book for 20 aircraft from ALAFCO for US$2.3 billion.

Nauru Air has accepted its seventh 737 family aircraft, a 737-800, registration VH-AN2, which touched down at the airline's Brisbane hangar on February 22. It will join three 737 family aircraft configured for passenger operations and three 737 family aircraft for cargo operations.

Australia's International Air Services Commission (IASC) has approved Virgin Australia's (VA) application to renew its allocation of one daily Australia and Tokyo Haneda Airport service for another five years.
