Thailand’s flag carrier to lease three 787-9s from Air Lease Corporation

The three wide-bodies are from its order book with Boeing, ALC said. “We are delighted to commence this new partnership with ALC,” THAI CEO, Chai Eamsiri, said. “The incorporation of these aircraft underscores our dedication to fleet modernisation and to delivering exceptional comfort and efficiency to our passengers.” THAI operates six 787-8s and two 787-9s. The Star Alliance member recently ordered 45 787 family aircraft with deliveries to start in 2027.
