AFI-KLM and Australian carrier, Bonza, have signed an agreement for component support of the LCC’s 737 MAX 8s.

All Nippon Airways and e-commerce shipping systems company, Logiles Co, have announced plans to link air transportation and logistics systems to expand next-day delivery availability in Japan, including the Kyushu region excepting its islands. The partnership opens the possibility of utilising empty aircraft cargo space on the same day an order is placed rather than on an early morning flight the following day.

Capital A subsidiary, AirAsia Drone, and SRI College Malaysia are offering a new management course leading to a Diploma in Drone Management.

Etihad Cargo has established a three-year strategic partnership with SATS Group company, Worldwide Flight Services, to handle cargo services at 12 airports: Amsterdam, Bangkok, Barcelona, Bengaluru, Boston, Chicago, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London Heathrow, Madrid, New York JFK, Paris Charles De Gaulle and Washington Dulles.

The Malaysia Government has approved a proposed 1 billion ringgit (US$210 million) expansion and upgrade of Penang International Airport, local media reports, quoting comments from the country’s transport minister, Anthony Loke, on the sidelines of Routes Asia being held this week in Langkawi.
