From March 31, China’s passenger airlines will be allowed to increase total flights to the U.S. from 35 weekly to 50 a week, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DoT) has announced.
The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) continues to showcase its C919 and ARJ21 jets outside China following their international debut at last week’s Singapore Airshow. The jets have been on display in Vietnam and will conduct demonstration flights in Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia, reports the China Media Group’s FATIII service, and added the two also will perform route verification tasks.
