GE Aerospace has reaffirmed its guidance and presented its longer-term financial outlook, including achieving US$10 billion in operating profit in 2028, at its recent Investors Day in New York.

Goa based start-up airline, FLY91, has received its Air Operator Certificate from India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

SGI Aviation has delivered an ex-Garuda Indonesia 777-300ER on behalf of an American client to Philippine Airlines on a long-term lease. The company is the exclusive agent for remarketing the 777-300ER MSN 29146. It will be registered and fly under new registration, RP-C7783.

AerCap Holdings has signed a seven-year component sale and leaseback agreement with OEMServices S.A.S. AerCap Materials will provide a substantial inventory of A220 components to support its airline customer base. This latest agreement is another example of inventory financing solutions provided by AerCap Materials to OEMServices across various platforms, including A320 and A380 lines, the lessor said.

At MRO Middle East, MIAT Mongolian Airlines agreed a long-term contract with Lufthansa Technik for Total Component Support of its 787s.

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has issued a concept paper that addresses AI challenges in aviation. It is “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Concept Paper Issue 02: Guidance for Level 1 & 2 Machine Learning Applications” and is a significant step towards developing EASA’s AI Roadmap 2.0, the agency said.

GE Aerospace has agreed with Ethiopian Airlines to deliver 16 GE9X engines to power the airline’s fleet of Boeing’s 777X. The flag carrier is the first GE9X customer in Africa.

CFM International has finalized various agreements with American Airlines for the LEAP-1B engines powering the airline’s 737 MAX 8 and MAX 10 fleets. The deal primarily provides for the purchase of spare engines and a new 20-year service contract for MRO of the American airline’s new LEAP-1B engines.

flyadeal, the low-cost carrier and subsidiary of Saudia Group, has committed to a long-term agreement with Safran Nacelles for comprehensive support of nacelles on the LCC’s A320neo family fleet that is powered by CFM International LEAP-1A turbofan engines.

Garmin has enhanced its FltPlan safety management system (SMS) with updates to its Flight Risk Assessment Tool (FRAT) and a new safety performance dashboard. The redesigned FRAT requires less input from pilots and offers operators the ability to customize FRATs for different pilots and aircraft.
