Today's briefs report news from BBN Indonesia, Cathay Cargo Terminal, GE Aerospace, Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals, International Air Transport Association and Lufthansa Cargo. Read More »

Avia Solutions Group's airline subsidiary, BBN Indonesia, has received an air operator certificate from Indonesia’s regulator to fly commercial passenger flights. BBN Indonesia operates charter passenger and cargo services flying two 737 types.

Cathay Cargo Terminal and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals have been granted International Air Transport Association Environmental Assessment (IEnvA) certification.

In 2024, GE Aerospace is investing US$650 million across its manufacturing facilities and supply chain partners to boost production and improve the quality of its output. “These investments are part of the next chapter for GE Aerospace, supporting cutting edge equipment and safety enhancements to assist the growing needs of our customers,” GE and GE Aerospace chair and CEO, Lawrence Culp Jr, said.

Lufthansa Cargo has extended its partnership with the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) cargo market intelligence platform, CargoIS.
