China Southern Airlines reports 14.2 million passengers for February

China Southern Airlines (CSA) said passenger numbers rose 41% to 14.2 million in February 2024, from 10.1 million in the same month in 2023. Read More » The Guangzhou-headquartered carrier said domestic passenger numbers were 33.9% higher at 9.8 million, while international passengers carried rose 424.4% to 1.3 million. CSA grew capacity, or available seat kilometres, 39.1%, and lifted its passenger load factor by nine percentage points to 85.6%. In fleet news, CSA disclosed it added three A320neo family and three 737 MAX family in February. At the end of last month, CSA had 913 commercial aircraft in its fleet.
