Qantas Airways returns its oldest A380 to service as international travel demand accelerates

The oldest A380 in the Qantas Airways fleet, registration VH-OQA, has started flying on selected routes to North America. Read More » The aircraft was accepted by the Australian carrier in September 2008. After more than a year in Abu Dhabi storage, the wide-body returned to Sydney earlier this month. FlightAware data shows that a few hours after returning to Sydney the aircraft entered commercial service, operating Sydney-Los Angeles and Melbourne-Los Angeles.
