Pratt & Whitney has announced a $20 million investment to increase GTF MRO capacity at its West Palm Beach Florida Engine Center. The expansion will result in a 40% increase in capacity. The shop is scheduled to open in the second half of next year.
Satair, an Airbus Services company, and Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, signed a four-year renewal agreement extending Satair’s global distribution rights for Collins electric, environmental control, and engine system parts. The agreement covers multiple Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer commercial and military platforms.
Barfield Inc., a subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) in the Americas, has strengthened its partnership with AerFin with a new component repair agreement encompassing 86 Part Numbers for A320 and E170/E190 components.
