This latest offer of compensation was in addition to the S$1,000 (US$739) each passenger received to meet their immediate needs after departing Bangkok. SIA has covered the medical expenses of injured passengers and arranged for family and loved ones to travel to Bangkok if requested. “SIA remains committed to supporting the affected passengers on board SQ321,” it said.
