Singapore Airlines Group reports 20.7% increase in passengers for March

Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Scoot flew a combined 3.3 million passengers last month, up from the 2.7 million air travellers the two carriers transported in March last year. Passenger load factor for the 31 days was 87.7%. “In March 2024, the Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group continued to see strong passenger traffic and load factors across all route regions,” SIA said. Cargo loads rose 15.6% in the month, compared with a year earlier, to their highest levels in the group’s to date fiscal year “on the back of increased inventory flows by shippers and charters for various entertainment events”, SIA said.
