Thai Airways International bids farewell to fleet’s final 747

Thai Airways International (THAI) has posted images of the farewell of its last “Queen of the Skies” 747 on social media, a formal goodbye to the aircraft family the Star Alliance member has been flying since 1979. Read More » Two 747-200s joined THAI that year allowing the flag carrier to operate fly non-stop Europe-Thailand for the first time. In 1987, THAI introduced two 747-300s to its schedule and has flown the 747-400 for more than 40 years. The THAI 747 still in the fleet when the pandemic broke out has been stored since 2020.
