Malaysia’s Minister for Transport, Anthony Loke Siew Fook, told reporters late last week he expected Kuala Lumpur's Subang Airport to be ready to accept jet operations by the third quarter of this year.

MJets Air, a subsidiary of MMAG Holdings, has signed an aircraft charter agreement with Capital A subsidiary, Teleport. “MJets Air will provide charter freight services to Teleport subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement,” MMAG Holdings said in a regulatory filing.

Malaysia Aviation Group’s (MAG) MRO, MAB Engineering Services, has launched Malaysia's first aircraft maintenance digital certification. “The integration of digital signatures into MAB Engineering Services mobility solution enhances operational efficiency and reliability,” MAG said. “This pioneering initiative empowers engineering personnel to authenticate their actions and approvals digitally, removing the need for manual signatures and paper-based documentation.”

Sydney Airport has announced next week’s annual lost property charity auction will accept bids for 2,500 unclaimed items – from laptops and mobile phones to the more unusual leaf blower and massage table. Proceeds raised will be donated to the Harding Miller Education Foundation, which awards scholarships to support high school girls experiencing disadvantage.

In late May, Rolls-Royce and Turkish Airlines jointly committed to exploring the “potential development of a competitive MRO capability and advance supply chain sourcing” in Türkiye.
